Q: Do you support specific diet protocols?

A: We work with many different frameworks and then tweak them for your needs! Some include:

  • Lower carb (there are many versions)
  • Lower sugar
  • FODMAP (our own version)
  • Keto
  • Healthy Vegan

  • Gluten-free
  • Dairy-free

Q: Do you offer supplements?

A: Healthy Nest Nutrition is a food-first practice! Our goals are ultimately to change eating habits to meet health goals. We aim for optimal nutrient intake through food sources. If larger doses are needed, only then will we talk about supplementation. We offer only the absolute highest quality supplements, and you will not get “sold” lots of needless supplements at Healthy Nest Nutrition. 

Q: What is Healthy Nest’s microbiome/food intolerance testing policy?

A: Healthy Nest uses very powerful, up-to-date, science-based testing as needed to help you reach your health goals. Because it is not covered by insurance, and many times, not necessary, we don’t run a bunch of tests at the beginning of working together. We make food changes FIRST, and see if we need more info that testing can provide. This will be a team (nutritionist + client) decision and again, is not usually done during our first session.  

Q: What is your confidentiality policy?

A: Although the state of Colorado doesn’t require nutritionists to do so, Healthy Nest nutritionists adhere to strict HIPPA confidentiality policies. Nutrition changes are highly personal. We ask difficult questions and expect honest answers, so everything we say in sessions is strictly confidential. We will also never, ever share or sell your information. 

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

We really hope you keep your session appointments with us! We are looking forward to seeing you. If you must, please try to give us as much notice as possible if you can not make an already scheduled session time. If you need to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time, we require you to reschedule within one week to avoid being charged/using a package session for your missed session. 

Q: Do you work with both men and women?

We sure do. Everyone deserves to find his or her best diet, and so we tailor our framework to meet YOUR needs, regardless of gender.

Q: Do you work with babies? 

As holistic nutritionists in Colorado, we can legally work with clients that are above the age of two. Most often, our clients are school-age kiddos through adults. Our expertise is not tailored younger set (ages 2-5ish), so we will happily refer you to a practice in town that specializes in babies starting from the age of two.

Q: Is parking easily available?

YES! There is a parking lot around the building and additional free on-street parking on the north and east sides of the building.
