These are a Few of My Favorite Things

Here are the life hacks and kitchen tools that I fell in love with this year.

Make life easier and more delicious with these six finds!

Pastamore
I discovered this small company on the farmer’s market circuit this summer. I just love to support local, innovative and delicious products. I’m really enjoying their line of vinegars and their fantastic gluten-free pasta selection. Thewhite balsamic pear vinegarelevates salads and is a total game changer. The garlic chivegluten-free pastais some of the best I’ve found since going gluten free 13 years ago.

Sitka Salmon Shares
This company has changed dinnertime for my family. It’s a subscription service in which you receive a box of salmon or white fish each month (you pick the size and duration). We joined the 1 box per month subscription and never looked back. We get fresh frozen fish delivered to our door and the fish is simply fantastic.Sitka Salmon Sharesis easy to communicate with and they do a great job of letting you know when your box will arrive.Use the code “AhoyFriends2021″³ and the referral name Robin Hutchinson for$25 offyour first month’s share.

YETI RAMBLER Water Bottle
This summer I started using a 26-ounce pinkYETI water bottle. It. Is. Beautiful. It keeps my water cold and my tea warm. It’s not too heavy to carry on walks and it fits in the cup holder in my car.

Hand Juicer
Simply stated, a little lemon or lime brightens up a dish. Whether you’re adding lemon juice to your chicken marinade or your water, this littlehand juicer gadgetis a dream. I use mine a lot.

FOOD: What the Heck Should I Cook?
This approachablecookbook by Mark Hymanis loaded with clean (gluten and dairy free) recipes. Hyman is great about using short ingredient lists and featuring reliably tasty go-to meals. I specifically like the vegetarian recipes. Dishes can be a little different, but they’re very do-able and delicious.

Rita Vali Bowls
I have to give a shout out to this local artist who makeswonderful bowlsfor big salads or grains and veggies. I love the odd shapes and mod designs. I discovered her work at the Art Student’s League Fair and have built quite the collection.
