Intake Forms

Once you've decided to schedule with us, we'll have you fill out a comprehensive intake form. We want to understand your health history, diet challenges, and goals so that we can hit the ground running during your first session.

First Session

During your initial session, you'll meet with your nutritionist to discuss your goals, lifestyle, and obstacles that have stopped you in the past. This session, along with your answers from the intake form, helps us lay the groundwork for working together.

Followup Sessions

Most clients require 2-3 months of active meeting time (four to eight, one-hour or half-hour) sessions. During these sessions, you'll review your progress with your nutritionist in detail: investigating positive and negative behaviors, food diary macro breakdown, planning, prep, cooking, ordering, travel hiccups, etc., providing guidance, advice, food therapy, and accountability while continuing toward goals.

While our goal is to set you up for success long-term, many clients opt for longer ongoing support and accountability that our 1/2-hour maintenance sessions provide.

Food and nutrient changes are not easy. We help you along the way with a personalized nutrition plan outlining what to eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. If you have a plan, you can make it through the busiest of days, even with a restricted diet. We’ve got you covered with recipes, menus, grocery lists, pick-up ideas and more.

In between sessions, we work through an online app, and you’re in communication with a holistic nutritionist. We eat so often that we want your questions answered quickly and we’re supportive during and in between consults. It’s this individualized hand-holding that makes our programs so successful.

We want to solve your problems as quickly as possible, “graduate” you from Healthy Nest and have another satisfied and happy client. Most of our clients need only four in-person sessions to overcome their issues, although some choose to continue with support sessions.

A: Healthy Nest Nutrition is a food-first practice! Our goals are ultimately to change eating habits to meet health goals. We aim for optimal nutrient intake through food sources. If larger doses are needed, only then will we talk about supplementation. We offer only the absolute highest quality supplements, and you will not get "sold" lots of Needless supplements at Healthy Nest Nutrition.

A:Tests may include food intolerance/sensitivity, microbiome, hormone (sugar, thyroid or sex hormones), and wellness panels.

Tests come in the following forms: saliva, blood, urine + poop.

A: Although the state of Colorado doesn't require nutritionists to do so, Healthy Nest Nutrition nutritionists adhere to strict HIPPA confidentiality policies. Nutrition changes are highly personal. We ask difficult questions and expect honest answers, so everything we say in sessions is strictly confidential. We will also never, ever share or sell your information.

A: We really hope you keep your session appointments with us! We are looking forward to seeing you. If you must, please try to give us as much notice as possible if you can not make an already scheduled session time. If you need to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time, we require you to reschedule within one week to avoid being charged/using a package session for your missed session.

A: We sure do. Everyone deserves to find his or her best diet, and so we tailor our framework to meet YOUR needs, regardless of gender.

A: We focus primarily on assisting adults in reaching their weight, health, and wellness goals. The majority of clients at Healthy Nest are adults. Our expertise is not tailored to younger people, so we will happily refer you to a practice that specializes in babies or young children.

A: YES! There is a parking lot around the building and additional free on-street parking on the north and east sides of the building.
