Nutrition Therapy is the practice of using food and lifestyle to achieve greater health and wellness. It begins with a premise that good quality whole foods are the building blocks for a healthy body.
Before your first appointment you will answer a lengthy questionnaire, or two, that includes diet, lifestyle and health history, and health goals. Also, I strongly suggest you fill out a nutritional log for 3-5 days. This log is a diary of all foods eaten during a normal 3-5 day time period. From there, I conduct a confidential nutritional analysis and suggest an individualized plan for you. This plan includes diet changes, menu ideas, food lists, snack ideas, recipes, lifestyle suggestions and specific vitamin, mineral and western herb additions.
This plan is YOURS and only yours. It is specific to you. It is designed so you will eat better and consequently feel better.
